Getting started

What syntaka is, how to create your account and sign in, and what to do first.

syntaka is a trading app for Hyperliquid. It helps you find traders who do well, follow what they do, and copy them, with clear limits on how much you can lose. If you want to trade yourself, it also has a full trading screen.

The four pages

The bar at the top has four pages. On a phone, they sit in a bar at the bottom, with Account added at the end.

Jump between pages

Hold Alt and press 1, 2, 3 or 4 to jump to a page. Alt + 5 opens Settings.

Look around first

You don't need an account to look around. Without signing in, you can open the Terminal and Explore. A few things, such as a trader's full page or Compare, ask you to sign up first. Your Portfolio and your settings are only there once you sign in.

Create your account

Click Sign up at the top right. What you see depends on how sign-ups are open:

Have an invite?syntaka is open by invite for now. Open the link in your invite to create your account.

To create an account with your email:

Enter your email and a password

Choose a password you don't use anywhere else.

Confirm your email

We send a link to your inbox. It works for 24 hours.

Once the address is confirmed, sign in with your email and password.

Nothing in your inbox?

Look in spam, or check that you typed the address correctly.

If Continue with Google or Continue with X is shown, you can use that instead of a password.

Sign in

Click Log in at the top right, then enter your email and password. Once you're in, you return to the page you were on.

Forgot your password? Click Forgot password? and we email you a link to choose a new one. The link works for one hour. When you set a new password, every browser that was signed in is signed out, so sign in again with the new one.

Keep your account safe

Open the account menu at the top right and choose Your account. There you can:

  • see how you sign in, and change your email or password;
  • set up an Authenticator app, so each sign-in also asks for a 6-digit code from your phone;
  • see Where you're signed in, and sign out everywhere;
  • export your data, or delete your account.

When you set up an authenticator app, you get backup codes. Each one signs you in once if you lose your phone. They are not shown again, so save them somewhere safe.

Turn on the authenticator app before real money

syntaka asks for its code to confirm live trading. Read more in Security.
